I also expected Confidence to lean a little more green than it does. It might have been silly of me to want more purples out of a Sapphire palette, but I saw images of this product online that led me to believe Sympathetic had more of a purple tone to it and that Sapphire was a true purple-blue duochrome rather than a blue satin-shimmer shadow with a blue and purple base. I don’t have to worry about clashing shades when I put any combination of them together. Overall, the quality in this palette is great and I am so impressed by the cohesive color story. ![]() Lastly, Hard Working is a stunning warm brown shimmer shadow. I learned the hard way that Total Package was far too sparkly to look nice as a brow highlighting shade for my tastes, but it makes an excellent inner corner and pinpoint brightening shade. They both deepen up slightly, but Restless remains olive whereas Stubborn comes off a little more brown than the red-brown shade appears in the pan. Restless didn’t swatch very well, but that shadow and Stubborn both blend easily and are opaque on the eyes. The shades Emerald and Artsy AF look quite similar on my eyes, but the main differences are that Emerald is a satin-like shimmer that is a slightly brighter green in tone, while Artsy AF has a medium-dark green base with gold and silver shimmer. I already have a few looks in mind that I’d like to try! I love the packaging as well as the actual shadows and this was definitely a great buy.Emerald and Peridot are the two green-centric palettes out of twelve, but I chose this one because these particular tones are more my speed. So all in all, this palette is definitely one of my favorites. I can’t wait to try these out on my eyes! My skin tone is warm and these colors are gorgeous and truly compliment my skin. I provided pictures of the shadows using makeup setting spray for even greater pigmentation, but as you can see, even without the spray the color payoff is phenomenal. Here are the swatches! I used my finger to apply the shadows to my arm. Swatches using makeup setting spray for more pigmentation in the same order as the previous picture The order of the swatches go down one column and then onto the next. The swatches are without using any makeup setting spray. Just by looking at these colors, I was already able to think of a few makeup looks I’d like to do. I can already picture myself using the bottom right white color as a highlight for my brow bone and my tear duct. The only downside, none of these shadows have names but it doesn’t make too much of a different for me. The colors are beautiful, shimmery, and warm. ![]() I provided a picture in order for you all to see how these shadows look. When I opened it, I saw a fairly big mirror, which I love and so far, I’m enjoying the look of this palette. Packaging has always been very important to me considering the fact that the appearance of the product is what catches my attention. There’s also a cute rose next the beautiful gold writing. ![]() It’s a square shape and it’s not bulky at all, so if you wanted to carry this cutie around it would be relatively easy! The name of the palette is “Wild Child” and the leopard print background really supports the name. The packaging, in my opinion, is adorable. This palette was on sale and it only cost me $9.45 rather than the full $19.95, and in my opinion, that’s a steal. I found this palette online during a sale they were having. I chose this palette specifically because I love warm, neutral tones but I also enjoy shimmer on my lids. Hearing the raving reviews and watching youtube beauty gurus use their products, the baked eyeshadows from BHCosmetics are supposed to have amazing pigmentation. ![]() Hello everyone! I’ve been wanting a baked eyeshadow palette from bhcosmetics for months now.
